SERVICES THEY OFFER
The use of spirituality in daily life enables those with dementia to preserve relationships, maintain hope and find meaning.
It provides them with a safe place to sleep, eat and call their own. While creating a sense of community.
By having their own nursing room they have a space to attend the different needs of the elders, such as regular monitoring of their vital signs and specific needs to their ilnesses.
This space is for them to be in contact with nature, have a view of the city and to hang out during the hot days.
Helping Kids Round First collaborates with this Home by donations of food, medicine and medical supplies.
A donation of a freezer for food, mini-fridge for medicine storage and medical supplies was made, to provide the best care possible.
Improving lives through baseball
Every year we bring baseball equipment and provide instruction to youth in rural Nicaraguan communities. Baseball has a unique ability to both bring together different cultures and teach life lessons helping to provide a foundation on which to improve lives.
